About The Position

Brown & Root Industrial Services is hiring a Security Guard II for long-term maintenance work. The position follows rotating 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, followed by 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical. The security guard monitors site access, assists visitors and deliveries, observes the parking lot, and supports vehicle checks at the truck gate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the front gate entrance and immediate area, and answer incoming calls.
• Check in visitors according to client procedures.
• Issue badges and check orientation cards for current site status.
• Check a computer spreadsheet to determine whether visitors require an escort.
• Check in and receive deliveries, then notify the on-site contact as soon as possible.
• Monitor the parking lot using cameras and visual observation to ensure vehicles are parked properly.
• Show safety videos to visitors.
• Check vehicles entering and exiting the truck gate and conduct vehicle searches when required.
