About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Mobile Driver in Atlanta, Georgia. The role provides a reliable assigned-site weekly shift, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The assigned shift is a fixed commitment for six months. Employees may work part-time hours or pick up additional shifts, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

The position provides security and customer service for tenants, visitors, and property staff at commercial real estate properties. Duties include conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access and activity, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting and communicating relevant observations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State and/or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
