About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The role provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that schedule. The employee may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, offering the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 hours per week and build toward a full-time schedule. The position pays $17.00 per hour.

The guard provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. Duties include responding professionally to incidents, conducting foot or vehicle patrols, observing and reporting suspicious activity or hazards, assisting with access control and inquiries, and documenting incidents and daily activities. A valid driver's license is required for this driving role.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, customer and employee inquiries, and documentation of incidents and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.
