About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Driver for an assigned chemical and petrochemical site in Deer Park, Texas. The position provides a fixed weekly anchor shift and allows employees to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The anchor-shift assignment requires a six-month commitment, and additional shifts can offer the opportunity to work up to 40 hours in a week, with flexibility to scale back. The listed pay rate is $15.50 per hour. The scheduled shift is Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The role provides customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency responses. Duties include access control, credential validation, patrols, and responding to incidents in accordance with site protocols.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Follow access-control procedures to protect controlled areas and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
