Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct guests to appropriate check-in procedures.
  • Inspect inbound and outbound deliveries in accordance with site procedures, coordinate access for vendors and drivers, and report unusual activity or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production-adjacent exterior areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
