You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting arrivals, incidents, and other required information.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding incidents, patrol findings, and security-related concerns.
