As a Security Guard TWIC Credential Review Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help to deter incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entry points, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal supervision.
