Requirements

  • Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document vehicle, visitor, and contractor activity in accordance with location requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, storage areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and promptly communicate incidents and observations to Allied Universal and designated location contacts.
