About The Position

As a Security Guard Access Screening in Monroe, Louisiana, you will safeguard clients at a financial institution by helping create a welcoming and secure environment. You will screen visitors, monitor access points, communicate professionally with employees and guests, identify and report security-related concerns, maintain a visible presence, and support daily operations through teamwork and integrity. This is a part-time position paying $15.81 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by following site-specific procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen individuals and permitted items entering designated areas using approved equipment and procedures, in accordance with client and Allied Universal guidelines.
Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and entry documentation; direct guests to appropriate locations and maintain accurate access-related records.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and nearby perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
