About The Position

The Security Greeter maintains outstanding customer service throughout FireLake Discount Foods while helping protect the store’s assets. The role provides a customer-friendly environment, supports customer satisfaction, and checks receipts from Firelake Smokeshop and FireLake Discount Foods. The position is supervised by the Security Manager and is classified as non-exempt.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate with associates and customers.
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
• Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store, generally weighing 0–75 pounds.
• Ability to work varied hours or days as business dictates.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods, with occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, and stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.

Responsibilities

• Communicate threats to FireLake Discount Foods assets to management and the Security Manager.
• Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining a customer-friendly environment, outstanding standards, and solid product knowledge.
• Check customer receipts from FireLake Smokeshop.
• Check customer grocery receipts from FireLake Discount Foods.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.
