About The Position
Security Officers provide a visible security presence to guests and employees. Responsibilities include locking/unlocking doors and gates at appropriate times, screening all persons entering ticketed and/or secure areas for valid credentials/tickets, and assisting guests with questions regarding directions, facility information, parking, and disabled assistance. Posts are located throughout Speedway properties. These are event-based positions with varying shifts and hours based on event needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in excess of 8 hours at a time
- Valid Driver’s License

- Previous security experience preferred
