About The Position

As a Security Driving Patrol Shopping Center in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with property management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help identify unusual activity, maintenance issues, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help control access, observe daily activity, and support a professional atmosphere for occupants and guests.
• Complete routine reports and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts regarding incidents, patrol findings, and follow-up needs.
