About The Position

This team member answers phones, dispatches guards, and transportation team members to calls for service, as well as department-to-department dispatching. The essential duties and responsibilities outlined here are representative of those that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, are not all inclusive: Handles all incoming phone calls and radio traffic. Dispatches guards to calls for service. Maintains accurate logs, files alphabetically, and keep files up to date. Speaks clearly, concisely, and professionally at all times on the radio and phones. Has knowledge of the Resort & Casino, departments, and procedures. Works any shift. Handles multiple tasks and priorities. Has a general knowledge of local laws and procedures, as well as the Security SOPs and training manual. Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles of the Resort & Casino. Performs all duties in a manner that adheres to the guest service standards established by Win-River Resort & Casino’s guest service program. Other duties as assigned by the Security Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak the English language to read directions, write reports, and give verbal dispatch directions and responses is required.
  • Above average computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to type 30 wpm is required.
  • The ability to keep and maintain orderly files and reports is required.
  • The ability to work without supervision and maintain calm in stressful situations is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A High School diploma, or the equivalent thereof, is preferred.
  • Prior radio communication skills is preferred.
