About The Position
Never have a dull, boring day at work again when you join the security department at Prairie Meadows. As a dispatch team member, you will work behind the scenes to keep Iowa’s No. 1 entertainment destination running smoothly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years’ of full-time work experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to write routine reports and provide clear written copy at a minimum of 35 words per minute
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

- Data entry and/or computer experience
Responsibilities
- Answering all calls including employee communications, emergencies, service requests, and public inquires.
- Manage employee entrances and communicate with outside vendors upon arrival.
- Operating a variety of communication equipment including computer dispatch systems, radio consoles, telephones, and computer programs.
- Obtaining important information and dispatching and/or notifying appropriate staff members.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
