The Hospital Security Department ensures a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Our team monitors access points, patrols hospital grounds, and responds to emergencies while supporting hospital policies. Working with local law enforcement and hospital leadership, we provide safety, protection, and assistance with professionalism, compassion, and respect. Security Dispatcher Full-Time, Nights Job Description: Liaisons with Baptist entities to ensure seamless flow of information/communication. Assists callers in accordance with operational policies, procedures, and protocols. Makes appropriate contact with other departments, external agencies, businesses, etc. for needed assistance and/or response. Immediately transmits complete and accurate information to appropriate field personnel, both in typewritten and verbal forms. Coordinates notifications in the event of a campus emergency. Serves as clearing house for campus level emergency call lists. Operates multi-frequency radio, telephonic and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems, multiple video display terminals, video surveillance software, badge access monitoring, and various other communication/security related elements located throughout the call center Monitors a variety of facilities based technical systems and alarms (Weather, Fire, Med gas - other). Monitors surveillance cameras and access control activity to identify and address potential threats, unusual activities, or security breaches. Performs Other Duties as Requested
