About The Position

Titan Security is seeking an experienced Concierge Security Officer for a premier residential high-rise in Chicago’s Loop/River North area. This role is suited to a mature, service-oriented security professional who will help create a safe, exceptional experience for residents and guests. The position is in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and requires balancing strong customer service with security awareness while interacting professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and building management.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have experience as a door staff professional.
Be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets or animals.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Be able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state-accredited training requirements.
Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Be able to meet the physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.
Have evening, overnight, and weekend availability.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual skills are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to people encountered while on duty, including offering directions and general business information.
Maintain clear, accurate front-desk administrative logs relating to people and property, including packages.
Control access for tenants, visitors, and vendors as required.
Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
Respond to property incidents, including emergencies, and record incident information for building and Titan Security management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
