About The Position
Serves as a patrol officer in hospital facilities, observing, monitoring, and reporting activities in the HH Health System using patrol techniques and responding to security incidents as required. May also be called upon to greet, valet park, or transport patients, or work as a cashier in a garage booth when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Successfully complete the Huntsville Hospital P.R.I.D.E. Academy.
- Possess a driver's license and be insurable by HH standards.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and change tasks frequently and quickly.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, including the ability to enforce policies assertively yet courteously.
- Some computer skills, including the ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Nice To Haves
- Some college.
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience accompanied by customer service experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Healthcare experience.
