About The Position

The Security Analyst protects Celestica assets, responds to alarms and emergency situations, and assists employees with security issues to help provide a safe work environment. The role maintains appropriate access to all facility areas for employees and customers and controls daily security operations, including incident investigations, property passes, loss prevention, and required site administrative duties. The position works independently on most aspects of moderately complex assignments within established professional standards and practices, under general supervision. Issues not covered by standard processes are referred to a manager or expert resource. The analyst may demonstrate work methods to new employees and builds internal and external relationships that support the role’s accountabilities.

Requirements

• Two to four years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; educational requirements may vary by geography.
• In-depth knowledge of facilities management and operations.
• Understanding of local and government environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Good organization and project management skills.
• Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and determine root causes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external customers.
