About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Ambassador for a patrolling security role in Columbia, South Carolina. The officer patrols sensitive areas, watches for suspicious activity, helps secure access-controlled areas, and responds to alarms, threats, or other incidents. The position requires standing and walking throughout the shift and involves protecting people and property. The schedule is part-time: Saturday and Sunday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., Thursday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Friday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. The pay is $18.36 per hour. Employment is contingent on a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Hold a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
