About The Position

The Patrolling Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling assigned locations. The role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents, protecting client property and personnel, preserving order, and enforcing site-related regulations and directives for personnel and visitors. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Securitas provides training for people new to the security industry.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
At least one year of security experience is listed under job requirements.
Open availability on weekends.
Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods; may need to climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
May need to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
