About The Position

Securitas USA is hiring a Patrolling Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling assigned premises. Officers preserve order by enforcing site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. They observe and report activities and incidents, help protect client property and personnel, and frequently provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No security experience is necessary; training is provided. The position pays $17.00 per hour, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth within the company. Security positions are available full-time and part-time.

Requirements

Must have customer service experience and excellent customer service skills.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; the work may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is considered a good fit.
