About The Position

The Swing Shift Security Officer will provide on-site security presence and coverage at multiple locations, responding to incidents, emergencies, or alarms according to proper protocols. This role involves conducting regular patrols and inspections to ensure site safety, monitoring surveillance systems and access control points, and enforcing site rules, regulations, and safety procedures. The officer will be responsible for writing clear and detailed incident and daily activity reports and communicating effectively with clients, staff, and law enforcement when necessary. The position requires flexibility to work on short notice and cover shifts as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Excellent observational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in stressful situations
• Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and patrol the property
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds and assist in emergency situations
• Ability to respond quickly, including running or navigating stairs
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Nice To Haves

• Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
