Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required.
Must possess or acquire a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
A valid California Driver's License is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous security or related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Team up with fellow Security Specialists to safeguard customers and employees across commercial environments.
Walk assigned areas on foot to maintain a visible security presence and deter incidents.
Monitor, identify, and address abnormal or potentially unsafe conditions on the property.
Document and investigate security events, accidents, and any maintenance-related concerns that come up.
Respond to calls for help from supervisors, client employees, or fellow security team members.
Back up facility staff during evacuations, emergency events, or hazardous situations.
Assist with crowd management and coordinate with public safety agencies when conditions call for it.
Check identification for employees requesting access to restricted areas of the client’s property.
Oversee parking enforcement and resolve vehicle-related issues on the premises.
Engage with customers and employees respectfully and professionally at all times.
Deliver First Aid, CPR, and AED assistance during medical emergencies (when certified).
Verify that all exterior access points — including doors, gates, and windows — are properly secured.
