Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required.
Must hold or acquire a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
A valid California Driver's License is required.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Security Specialist team to keep customers and employees safe across commercial settings.
Carry out foot patrols through your assigned zones to maintain a visible security footprint and discourage incidents.
Spot, assess, and respond to unusual or potentially unsafe situations on-site.
Record and follow up on security events, accidents, and facility maintenance matters.
Respond fast to requests for help from supervisors, client personnel, or fellow security officers.
Provide support to staff during evacuations, emergencies, or other high-risk moments.
Step in on crowd control and coordinate with public safety agencies whenever a situation calls for it.
Check employee credentials when people request access to restricted zones on client property.
Enforce parking rules and handle vehicle-related issues on the premises.
Engage with customers and employees respectfully and professionally at all times.
Offer First Aid, CPR, and AED assistance during medical emergencies (if certified).
Confirm that all exterior entry points — doors, gates, and windows — are properly secured.
