About The Position

Glen Raven Material Solutions, a global leading manufacturer of performance fabrics, is currently seeking a 2nd shift Weaving Section Leader. The 2nd shift hours for this department are Monday through Friday 4pm to 12am. This leadership role requires reporting at 2pm to get the shift set up and started. Pay Rate for this position is $27.62 including a $1 shift differential for the 2nd shift hours.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Bias for action, especially regarding Safety and Quality
Must be dependable and possess a strong work ethic
Excellent interpersonal skills required

Nice To Haves

5 plus year of weaving process experience preferred
Experience in Microsoft Office preferred

Responsibilities

Promoting and enforcing safety policies and procedures including Task Group Involvement, Monthly OSHA Inspections and BBS Participation Tracking
Supporting and working alongside the shift manager to develop associates into experts in their job positions
Monitoring associate safety, productivity, quality and attendance
Entering and approving associate time and time off request in the time keeping system
Conduct weekly meetings with associates
Work closely with other section leaders and manager on policies and procedures
Communicating with outgoing and incoming section leaders on active safety, quality and productivity concerns
