About The Position

Marathon TS is looking for a Section 508 Analyst (Tech Editor/Admin) with proven experience within the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) environment. This project utilizes rapid design and development techniques in a Safe© Agile environment to respond to client demands for meeting the challenges of government Section 508 directives. The successful candidate will interface with clients and teams to create business requirements and user stories and perform analysis throughout the Agile lifecycle. The successful candidate understands Section 508 requirements to address the end-to-end journey of the customer across both digital and offline channels. The successful candidate will interface with DoD clients and end users to gather business and functional requirements and perform technical analysis for the development of a high-volume transaction system with complex workflows and user interface. Provide operational, tactical, and strategic analysis to accomplish program goals and exceed user satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience within the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) environment
• Ability to think creatively, stimulate new ideas and challenge existing thinking
• Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to assess risks and issues and openly communicate them to PM
• Thorough understanding of Section 508 technical standards, the reasonable accommodations process, assistive technologies, and how to mitigate and resolve complaints
• 2+ years proficiency using SharePoint
• 2+ years proficiency reviewing and remediating Word, PPT, Excel, PDFs

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and delivering a Section 508 Compliance Training Program for the client workforce, which will include creation of briefings, reference guides, Web-Based Training (WBT), Virtual Instructor Lead Training (VILT), and a Quick Reference Guide
• Monitor and communicate to client personnel updates and changes to Section 508 laws, governance, and best practices
• Provide analysis of new and emerging technologies and techniques for evaluating Section 508 compliance
• Draft government policy and procedures documents for review by Section 508 Coordinator
• Post and maintain in client's designated SharePoint site Section 508 policies, procedures, and required documentation
• Support client activities to develop client's Section 508 standards, strategic planning, policy, and processes
• Collect, document, assess, and track client employee Section 508 complaints and issues, and provide resolution recommendations to the client Section 508 Program Coordinator
• Provide consolidated Metrics Reports and Activity Reports for inclusion in the biannual OMB report.
