About The Position

Provide clerical support to assistant principal(s) by managing various administrative tasks, including student attendance, filing, report assistance, inventory management, correspondence, telephone duties, appointment scheduling, registration assistance, and grade sheet processing. This role requires proficiency in office management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Check SAC roll, attendance, and assignments, including typing and recording information.
  • Manage filing systems, including setting up new files and ensuring all files are orderly and current.
  • Assist with reports, monies, and fines.
  • Assist with building inventories.
  • Type all correspondence, forms, etc., as required by the assistant principal.
  • Handle telephone calls, including answering, taking messages, and transferring calls.
  • Schedule appointments with parents and maintain an up-to-date calendar.
  • Perform general receptionist duties and keep the assistant principal informed.
  • Assist in registration processes as needed.
  • Provide assistance to students and teachers when required.
  • Assist in the receipt and proofing of grade scan sheets.
