About The Position

This seasonal Store position at the Waldorf, Maryland location delivers friendly customer service, helps customers find products and solutions, and provides a fast, friendly checkout experience. The role includes cash handling, promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, explaining the Voice of Customer survey, and assisting with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes.

Team members participate in truck unloading, stocking, planogram processes, merchandise recovery and maintenance, Store In Stock Optimization (SISO), and ad set duties. They support shrink and safety programs, follow company procedures and policies, and contribute to a respectful, positive store environment. The position also involves cross-training in Custom Framing sales and production and may include other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash according to standards.
• Explain the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including merchandise returns and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and ad set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow standard operating procedures, company programs, policies, and standards to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact respectfully and positively with others, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a role model for other team members.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
