About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal, part-time Warehouse Associate (also described as a Seasonal Package Handler) at its Kent, Washington location. The role supports holiday package operations by unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages, and keeping them organized and moving safely and efficiently. Training is provided; previous warehouse experience is not required. The assignment runs from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment, subject to eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed. Pay is $18.00 per hour, with weekly pay, a seasonal bonus subject to location and assignment terms, and premium pay for hours worked on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Overtime pay is provided as required by applicable law.

The scheduled shift is five days on and two days off, from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 10:00 a.m. Typical shifts are about three hours, but end times may vary based on package volume and business needs. Flexible shift options are mentioned. Employees must be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed, and may be required to work overtime when business needs require. The work is active and physically demanding, involves working in a warehouse where temperature control may be limited, and requires frequent package handling and movement.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with the team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
