About The Position

Crocs, Inc. is seeking a creative and social-savvy Seasonal Social Media Content Creator Intern to support its retail stores. This role involves creating engaging, authentic content that highlights products, the brand, and the in-store experience. The ideal candidate has a passion for social media, understands current trends, and is eager to use store products to create content that drives awareness, engagement, and foot traffic to retail locations. This is a part-time, summer seasonal internship based in NYC, requiring travel to specific Crocs stores (34th St., SOHO, Queens Center, and Roosevelt).

Requirements

  • Passion for social media, content creation, and digital storytelling.
  • Comfort being on camera and/or directing others in content creation.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and trends (especially short-form video).
  • Creative eye for styling, composition, and storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with store leadership.
  • Reliable availability for 20–30 hours per week throughout the seasonal period.
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs and ladders carrying merchandise daily.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds or more with assistance daily.
  • Must be 18 years old or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with social content amplification.
  • Prior experience creating social content (personal or professional) preferred.
  • Retail, fashion, lifestyle, or brand experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create short-form social media content (photos and videos) using in-store product to showcase styling, features, and brand moments.
  • Capture content in and around the retail store that highlights new arrivals, seasonal stories, promotions, and store experience.
  • Support content creation for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and other brand-approved social channels.
  • Stay current on social media trends, formats, and best practices to ensure content feels relevant and engaging.
  • Partner with store leadership to align content with key product focuses, promotions, and traffic-driving moments.
  • Assist with light editing of photos and videos using mobile tools and apps.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and visual standards.
  • Drive engagement across retail content to elevate impression and reach.
  • Represent the brand positively and professionally in all content creation activities.
  • Create and publish 5+ social content pieces per week (photo and video) using in-store product.
  • Capture authentic in-store content highlighting new arrivals, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and store experience.
  • Edit and post content for approved local/market social channels using brand-approved tools.
  • Monitor content performance and identify high-engagement trends and opportunities.
  • Partner with store leadership to align content with key product focuses and traffic-driving moments.
  • Educate and collaborate with store teams to support consistent, on-brand retail storytelling.
  • Be the social HUB for retail store teams for best practice and ways to drive performing content.
