About The Position

This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production areas and lines according to standard operating procedures. The position requires familiarity with plant safety rules and guidelines, the ability to operate sanitation equipment, and knowledge of all operations equipment in the assigned area. The individual must ensure equipment is clean and ready at the start of the shift and report any issues to the sanitation lead. This role also involves learning and using CIP systems, baling cardboard, and performing grounds keeping when assigned. The position is located in Waseca, Minnesota, with an anticipated close date of August 3, 2026.

Requirements

Familiarity with plant safety rules and guidelines.
Positive attitude, ability to work well as a team, and initiative in improving company operations.
Ability to work effectively with other departments.
Licensed forklift operator or ability to become licensed.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions to complete tasks.
Ability to operate all sanitation equipment – including but not limited to high-pressure hoses, chemical foaming unit, titration testing equipment.
Obtain knowledge of all operations equipment in the area assigned.
Capable of learning, understanding and using CIP systems.

Responsibilities

Ensure plant safety rules and guidelines are followed by self and all employees in the area.
Operate all sanitation equipment, including high-pressure hoses, chemical foaming units, and titration testing equipment.
Clean and sanitize production areas and lines as assigned per standard operating procedures.
Ensure equipment is clean and ready to run at the start of the shift.
Notify the sanitation lead of any issues that may prevent timely completion.
Learn, understand, and use CIP systems.
Bale cardboard.
Perform grounds keeping when assigned.
