About The Position

This is a seasonal position with the potential for full-time employment at Ice Cream Specialties, a company with over 85 years of history. Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Ability to read and speak English fluently (for safety purposes)
Ability to start up and shut down all the production pasteurization equipment
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, technical manuals, and oral instructions related to the operation and cleaning of the production equipment
Ability to lift, push, pull product and equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds out of confined spaces and occasionally having to lift product or equipment overhead
Must be able to pass a post offer drug screen, breath alcohol test, physical, and background check

Nice To Haves

Highschool diploma or GED preferred
Industrial sanitation experience preferred
Food manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Cleaning of various machines and equipment (freezers, tanks, fruit feeders, vats, pumps, lines and tubing, pasteurizer, homogenizer, and other related equipment)
Cleaning of floors, drains, walls, ceiling, and exterior of equipment throughout the facility
CIP systems (Clean in Place process of piping using regulatory approved alkaline, chlorine, acid, and Quat based chemicals), floor scrubber, foamer, COP wash tanks
Flavoring mix with fruit and flavor concentrates
Receiving mix and operating pasteurizing system (HTST)
Trash pickup and removal
Any other job associated with sanitation (clean-up) at this facility
Must follow and adhere to LOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out)
Use proper equipment/utensils per allergen notations
Knowledge of sanitation chemical concentrations
