About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate is the face of the Timberland brand, providing energetic, authentic, customer-first service and creating memorable shopping experiences. The role involves engaging customers, sharing product knowledge, and contributing to store success through sales, visual merchandising, and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment. This position supports the store during peak season, with potential to transition to regular employment.
Requirements
- Ability to engage genuinely and comfortably with a diverse group of customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with a team and adapt to changing business needs.
- Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including basic retail systems and applications.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred; retail experience is a plus.
