About The Position

POP MART is seeking a customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associate to support its retail team during the holiday shopping period. The associate serves as a brand ambassador, creates memorable shopping experiences, shares product knowledge and character stories, and helps customers find collectibles they enjoy. The role also supports daily store operations and maintains an engaging shopping environment during busy periods.

This is a temporary, seasonal, non-exempt position intended to meet increased holiday business needs. Seasonal employment is expected to end with the designated seasonal period, though business needs may change the end date. Continued or permanent employment may be considered based on business needs, individual performance, and available positions, but is not guaranteed. The fixed hourly pay rate is $14.50, and the position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6–8 hours per shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead, and safely use ladders or step stools.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stocking merchandise, unpacking shipments, pricing products, and organizing inventory.
• Ability to work efficiently while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to operate standard retail equipment and stockroom tools, including handheld scanners, box cutters, and ladders.
• Ability to work in sales-floor, stockroom, and receiving-area environments.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, entertainment, or another customer-facing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for designer toys, collectibles, art, anime, gaming, fashion, or pop culture.
• Familiarity with POP MART characters, products, and the collectible toy community.
• Experience using point-of-sale systems, handling merchandise, or supporting inventory operations.
• Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet shoppers, build genuine connections, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Share product knowledge, character stories, and enthusiasm for POP MART collectible art toys.
• Make personalized recommendations to help customers discover products.
• Support store sales goals by promoting key products, new releases, Blind Boxes, MEGA collectibles, and accessories.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing in accordance with brand standards.
• Assist with merchandising, product replenishment, shipment processing, and stockroom organization.
• Support inventory accuracy and follow merchandise-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Help manage customer traffic, lines, and product launches while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with store leadership and team members to meet daily operational needs, especially during peak holiday periods.
