About The Position
As a Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and contribute to its reputation for customer service. You help create a lasting impression on customers’ shopping experiences by providing attentive service, developing customer relationships, sharing product and service knowledge, and meeting sales goals. This position is at SouthPark Mall and offers an expected base wage of $15.00–$17.00 per hour, with commission and overtime eligibility. Actual wages depend on individual qualifications, and commission may vary by department.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank each customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow sales.
- Use product knowledge and explain store services to enhance the customer experience.
- Process point-of-sale transactions and enter account information.
- Maintain a clean and visually appealing department.
- Meet individual sales and account goals.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
