About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate is the face of the Vans brand, bringing energy, authenticity, and a customer-first mindset to customer interactions. The role creates memorable shopping experiences through customer engagement, product knowledge, and exceptional service. Working as part of a collaborative team, the associate contributes to sales, visual merchandising, and store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. This position supports the store during peak season, with potential to transition to regular employment.

Requirements

• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing business needs.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including basic retail systems and applications.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred; retail experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
