About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will help create a shopping experience that makes customers feel welcome and comfortable. You will help maintain clean, neat, and professional presentation standards within your assigned department and perform other duties as necessary and assigned. Seasonal positions are available in Sales departments (Electronics, E-Games, and Fashion) and Operations departments (Credit, General Merchandise/Checkout, and Warehouse).

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
• Ability to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.
• Must enjoy meeting and interacting with customers.
• Possess a strong sense of urgency.
• Able to multitask.
• The role involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods, hearing, and talking; may occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching; and may involve moving or lifting items up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Suggest additional merchandise to complement the customer's selection.
