About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will help create a shopping experience that makes customers feel welcome and comfortable. You will help maintain clean, neat, and professional presentation standards in your assigned department and perform other duties as necessary and assigned. Seasonal positions are available in Sales departments including Electronics, E-Games, and Fashion, as well as Operations departments including Credit, General Merchandise/Checkout, and Warehouse.

Requirements

• No specific educational accomplishment is required.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
• Communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers.
• Possess a strong sense of urgency.
• Be able to multitask.
• Regularly walk, stand, sit for extended periods, hear, and talk; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch; and potentially move or lift items up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience by making the customer the priority.
• Determine customer needs based on personal features and other customer preference-related factors, and suggest additional merchandise to complement their selections.
• Maintain department cleanliness standards.
• Perform other duties as necessary and assigned.
