About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate guides and inspires customers to make style a source of creative energy in their lives. The role delivers the Bloomingdale’s customer experience through welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive conversation that creates a human connection with customers. Sales Associates circulate on the sales floor, determine customer needs, explain loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also deliver operational excellence by using the store’s fulfillment system and maintaining merchandise-to-sell standards, the sales floor, and fitting rooms.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and to process register transactions.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
The position may involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
