About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate guides and inspires customers to make style a source of creative energy. The role delivers the Bloomingdale’s customer experience through welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive conversation that builds human connections. Sales Associates circulate actively on the sales floor, determine customer needs, explain Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also help maintain operational excellence through the store fulfillment system, merchandise-to-sell standards, and upkeep of the sales floor and fitting rooms.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop; color vision may be required.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
