About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate’s primary role is to guide and inspire customers to make style a source of creative energy in their lives. The role delivers the Bloomingdale’s customer experience through welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive conversation that creates a personal connection with customers. Sales Associates circulate the sales floor, determine customer needs, explain Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also help deliver operational excellence by using the store fulfillment system and maintaining merchandise-to-sell standards, the sales floor, and fitting rooms.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible schedule during retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing and walking; reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping; and frequent lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.
Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
