About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate provides outstanding customer service, merchandises, generates and processes sales, and helps maintain the store’s cleanliness and appearance. The role involves creating a friendly shopping environment, staying informed about products and promotions, supporting store operations, and completing other related tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

Excellent selling and customer service abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and climb a ladder.
Ability to move, lift, and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds.
Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Retail or customer service experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

Create a friendly environment by greeting, acknowledging, and re-approaching customers, and demonstrating product knowledge.
Stay up to date on current sales and promotions.
Assist with merchandising displays and maintaining store cleanliness.
Replenish merchandise, monitor floor stock, and process shipments.
Process purchases at the cash register.
Adhere to company policies.
Perform other tasks assigned by the management team.
