About The Position

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes assisting customers, accurately processing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, maintaining merchandising standards, processing merchandise for the sales floor, and supporting store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. Associates provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback and follow applicable labor laws, policies, and procedures. Other duties may be assigned. This seasonal position is at Marshalls Store 0438, 3805 Dallas Hwy SW S400, Marietta, Georgia. Starting pay is USD $13.25 to $13.75 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.

Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Cross-train in multiple store areas as needed to support business needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
