About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate provides outstanding customer service, merchandises, generates and processes sales, and maintains the store’s cleanliness and appearance. The role involves creating a friendly customer environment, staying informed about products and promotions, replenishing merchandise, processing shipments and purchases, and following company policies. The employee may also perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the company.

Requirements

Retail or customer service experience is an asset.
Excellent selling and customer service abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and climb a ladder.
Ability to move, lift, and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds.
Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Create a friendly environment by greeting, acknowledging, and re-approaching customers, and demonstrating knowledge of products.
Stay up to date on current sales and promotions.
Assist with merchandising displays and store cleanliness.
Replenish merchandise, monitor floor stock, and process shipments.
Process purchases at the cash register.
Adhere to company policies.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the management team.
