The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the customer experience across retail, rental, custom clothing, and omni-channel business within a store. The role involves building customer relationships, using sales techniques, collaborating with the team to achieve store goals, assisting with merchandising and inventory tasks, and operating the point-of-sale register. Requirements
- Customer-service skills and a customer-focused approach to delivering a high-quality experience.
- Desire to learn and adapt to new programs.
- Ability to work and consult with retail sales associates at all levels and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the work shift; frequently bend, squat, and twist; lift up to 50 lbs.; climb a ladder; and distinguish fabric patterns and colors.
Responsibilities
- Engage as a member of a high-performing team through trust, commitment, and a focus on results.
- Build customer relationships from greeting through post-sale contact.
- Demonstrate selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
- Encourage and participate in team selling and contribute to store sales volume and metrics goals.
- Assist with visual merchandising, setup, store-related projects, and merchandise stock counts.
- Operate the cash register at the store point of sale.
