About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports and maintains the Vera Bradley customer experience by providing exceptional service, upholding store image standards, maximizing sales, and assisting with store operations. The role involves engaging guests through product awareness and team selling, helping maintain visual merchandising and an inviting store environment, organizing the stock room, and accurately processing transactions using the point-of-sale system. The associate is expected to treat employees and guests respectfully, contribute to a positive work environment, and comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate preferred.
• Prior retail experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with a retail POS system is a plus.
• Polite and professional demeanor.
• Exceptional sales skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Strong team player.
• Able to work with strong fragrances and scents throughout the workday.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity.
• Able to consistently lift 10–35 lbs and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs, and able to push or pull more than 55 lbs.
