About The Position

Vans is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support its Woodbury Commons store during peak season, with the potential to transition to regular employment. The associate serves as a representative of the brand, creating memorable shopping experiences through authentic customer engagement, product knowledge, and exceptional service. Working collaboratively with the store team, the role contributes to sales, visual merchandising, and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to engage genuinely and comfortably with a diverse group of customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing business needs.
• Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including basic retail systems and applications.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred; retail experience is a plus.
