Seasonal Safety Shift Leader - Hyland Hills
About The Position
Three Rivers Park District is hiring Seasonal Safety Shift Leaders at Hyland Hills Ski Area in Bloomington, Minnesota. The position provides leadership to an assigned shift in accordance with Park District policies to support high-quality experiences for park guests. The starting salary is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. The position is seasonal. Employees at Hyland Hills receive a free unlimited ski pass for the entire season. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet the education, leadership experience, driver’s license, and emergency-care certification requirements. Required certifications must be held upon appointment and maintained throughout employment.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school graduate or GED.
- At least one year of leadership experience (two seasons), or experience supervising others.
- Valid Class D Minnesota Driver's License and ability to operate cars and light trucks.
- Current Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC), Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification upon appointment and throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon appointment and throughout employment, specifically Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer or American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
