Seasonal Safety Shift Leader - Elm Creek
About The Position
Three Rivers Park District is hiring Seasonal Safety Shift Leaders at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The position provides leadership to an assigned shift in accordance with Park District policies, with the goal of providing high-quality experiences for park guests. The starting salary range is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The posting is scheduled to close on December 12, 2026. Three Rivers Park District manages more than 27,000 acres of parks and trails in the Twin Cities area. Employees receive a free Recreation Activity Pass, which provides access to discounted or complimentary Park District programs and services, including an unlimited ski pass for the winter season. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and have at least one year of leadership experience (two seasons) or experience supervising others. A valid Minnesota Class D driver’s license and current OEC, EMR, or EMT certification, along with specified CPR certification, are required upon appointment and throughout employment.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school graduate or GED.
- At least one year of leadership experience (two seasons), or experience supervising others.
- Valid Minnesota Class D driver’s license and ability to operate cars and light trucks.
- Current Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC), Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification upon appointment and throughout employment.
- Current CPR certification upon appointment and throughout employment: Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer or American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
