About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. You work on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, using warmth, product knowledge, and a personal approach to build trust, meet sales goals, and encourage customer loyalty. The role also involves helping maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping space. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

• Frequent use of computers and other technology as needed to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations to understand their needs and build customer relationships.
• Offer product and service recommendations and use customer engagement and smart selling behaviors to achieve sales goals.
• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay informed about trends and promotions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor.
• Merchandise new receipts; process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves.
• Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, thank them sincerely, and provide attentive service through the end of each interaction.
• Collaborate with colleagues with honesty, care, and a focus on customer and store results.
• Use electronic devices and technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, to process transactions.
